    • Health and Dental

      Benefits include 100% company paid comprehensive health and dental coverage, which includes 100% prescriptions drugs, including fertility drugs and vaccinations. Our Dental coverage includes 100% coverage for basic services and also includes coverage for major restorative, dentures, and orthodontics. Additionally, associates have coverage up to $500 per calendar year for paramedical services such as audiologists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and physiotherapists and $3000 per calendar year for mental health providers.

    • Vision Care and Other Services

      Associates have access to coverage for eye exams, purchase and fitting of prescription glasses or elective contact lenses, or elective laser vision correction procedures. Additionally, associates have coverage for hearing aids, orthopedic shoes, semi private hospital, private nurse and out of country emergency medical expenses.

    • Corporate Fitness Program

      Capital One will reimburse 50% of an eligible gym membership up to $300 per calendar year.

    • Associate Stock Purchase Plan

      Administered through eTrade, the plan allows associates to contribute up to 15% of their base salary with company contributions. Associates are eligible as of their first day.

    • Registered Retirement Savings Plan & Associate Savings Plan

      The savings plan at Capital One consists of registered and non-registered saving plans. Both plans are eligible for company-matched contributions of up to 7.5%.

    • Short- and Long-Term Disability

      Eligible associates receive up to 6 weeks at 100% of their earnings and 20 weeks at 67% of their eligible earnings. Long-term disability, an associate-paid, non-taxable benefit, covers associates for 66.67% of their base salary.

    • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment

      Associates are eligible for company paid basic life and AD&D insurance for 1 times their salary, with options to increase the coverage. Spousal and dependent coverage is also available.

    • Time Off

      Associates receive generous vacation time and personal days.

    • Maternity Leave Top-up Benefits

      Eligible associates are eligible to receive 100% top-up from their employment insurance benefits of eligible earnings for the first 6 weeks, and 75% for the next 20 weeks.

    • Parental Leave Top-up Benefits

      Eligible associates are eligible to receive 100% top-up from their employment insurance benefits of eligible earnings for the first 6 weeks, and 75% for the next 20 weeks.

    • Adoption Reimbursement Program

      Associates are eligible to receive up to $5,000 reimbursement towards adoption-related expenses.

    • Education Assistance

      Eligible associates can receive up to $5,000 per calendar year for reimbursement of eligible tuition, book costs and applicable fees.

    • Employee and Family Assistance Program

      This voluntary, confidential, short-term support services program offers counselling and other services for a wide range of life experiences including expectant and new parents, legal questions, schooling and education, nutrition, eldercare and more.

    • Perkopolis Discount Program

      This free and exclusive corporate discount program provides access to a variety of discounted products and services, including theatre and movie tickets, hotels and travel, retail shopping and much more.

Eligibility for Capital One benefits is based on your employment status:

  • If you’re a full-time associate, you're eligible for Capital One benefits on your date of hire.
  • If you’re a part-time associate (regularly scheduled to work at least 20 "standard hours" per week as maintained in Capital One's system of record, Workday), you’re eligible for Capital One health benefits (except Short Term Disability) after 90 days of employment.
  • If you’re rehired any time by Capital One as a part-time associate, you must have completed 90 days of full-time or part-time service before your original departure to be eligible for health benefits on date of rehire.

Eligible dependents include:

  • Your spouse or domestic partner
  • Dependent children that are married or unmarried—including adopted children, children in foster care and stepchildren. Children are eligible from the day they are born, adopted or placed with you as a foster child until their 26th birthday
  • Your domestic partner’s biological or adopted children who reside with you to the end of the month of their 26th birthday
  • Other minor children if you’re a legal guardian
  • Older children with mental or physical impairments maybe eligible, as certified by Anthem

Domestic Partner: Eligible associates may enroll their domestic partners for medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.
